Radiohead - There, there. Live on Jools Holland, June 2003. Excellent quality! Not the most intense version of the song though, in my opinion. There are diffent versions in my files.

I don't think Chris Martin's actions are 'ungenuine', he's honestly just hyper-active and weird. I've also seen Coldplay live and have to say he was amazing. It was raining and miserable and his outrageous enthusiasm really brought the crowd to life. IMO Radiohead gigs seem to be much more focused on the music, whereas Coldplay place just as much importance on the whole experience. I still think their music is excellent but they don't let it limit their live performances.

Did you not hear Mylo Xyloto? Parachutes and X & Y might have been good albums but after that they pretty much sold their soul to their record company.

I think Chris Martin's stage presence pales in comparison to all the other differences between Radiohead and Coldplay. Not dissing coldplay, but anyone who's listened to Kid A onwards or even OK computer wouldn't really suggest the bands are similar.

Coldplay isn't bad, but they are no radiohead

Coldplay is a pasteurized and ultra light version of Radiohead

on the coldplay and radiohead debate Both are great bands, i like them both, technically speaking radiohead is a lot better i think than coldplay, but the good thing about both is that they haven't let their success get on top of their heads and always maintained fresh. Finally, as to the coldplay haters..i will only say listen to all their stuff, i also thought that they were not genuine and sold to companies and stuff, but now that i know about them i really respect them.

i hve to b honest, i saw both bands. der s no corelation between radiohead and coldplay. similar starting points, bu vastly difrent directions, so firstly, throw comparisons out d window. 2ndly, both bnds have evolved from unclear beginings into amazing stalwarths of guitar/computer/drum/dont wana say it bu fck it- not mass market produced bullsht.two amazng bands, both of whom i have had the privilege of seeing live. both amazngly charismatic front men. both bands i wud pay big money 2 c again

I was 16 when I saw this on Jools and it blew me in the direction of independent music (in the real sense of that term). I have fond memories of watching this at least 5 times before heading to school after recording it on vhs. I could not come to terms with how great it sounded.

@JAMIEFORSTER I agree whole-heartedley but... why even mention Chris Martin? Surely it's an insult to mention them in the same sentence? I don't understand. That would seemingly be akin to you saying that Editors are crap compared to Joy Division etc. Lazy. I like to think that Radiohead fans deserve a bit more credit than that.
