Yep... She makes a good Gigi, but I can't understand why she isn't Kim. Really, I've listened to both of them (Eva and Rachelle) and I just don't see it. Couldn't they find someone else for Gigi?

good voice control.. good voice tone... beautiful face... beautiful voice... good interpretation... simply put - PERFECT FOR THE ROLE OF KIM!congrats rachelle for making it is as gigi. tingnan mo, after the this west end season ends, they will offer you the role of kim, like what happened to racel tuason (and also i think jaime rivera) who initially played as gigi before they were offered to be kim. they will realize na mas bagay ka as kim, nagkataon lang siguro na season opening ito and 25th anniversary kaya they wanted a real 17-, 18-year old talent to play the role. nonetheless, you could pass for an 18-year old to play the role of kim gaya nga ng sabi ni miss lea in one of her interviews (ikaw at si sarah geronimo) CONGRATS AGAIN RACHELLE AND WE WILL WAIT FOR YOU TO BE THE NEXT KIM. MABUHAY KA!

She's wonderful, but I can see why she might make a better Gigi, and Eva a better Kim. Incidentally, an alternate is just that; they perform the role typically two scheduled performances per week, so that the lead doesn't have to do two shows on matinee days. An understudy, typically has a smaller role in the show, and steps in for the scheduled lead when he or she is unable or unavailable to go on. A standby is another matter; they usually are not in the show until they are asked to step in to cover for a lead.
