After watching this clip and thinking about Jesse in this movie she seriously reminds me of Bella from Twilight. Unlike Bella Jesse was an adult had a great life she was part of an organization called the Telimusca (sorry for the misspelling) where she researched the supernatural, and her Aunt Marharet (again sorry for misspelling) was supporting her financially. Instead of listening to her watcher and superior David who warned her to not get involved in vampire affairs Jesse went looking for them. Like Bella who was obsessed with Edward Jesse became obsessed with Lestat both girls wanted to be apart of world that they don't understand. Jesse's vampire Aunt Marharet went to great lengths to shield Jesse from the vampire world to make sure her niece had a normal life. And Bella didn't care about how she would leave behind her dad, mom, Jacob or her life in general all she cared about was being part of Edward's world. Bella really didn't love Edward she loved what he was she wanted power, strength, and immortality she was selfish,self-centered, shallow, strung Jacob along and kept him in her back pocket if Edward didn't give her what she wanted she was a bitch. Jesse also wouldn't listen she almost got attacked by vampires at a vampire club but was saved by the vampire she had been searching for Lestat and he warned her about life as a vampire and like Bella Jesse didn't listen. Both Jesse and Bella did eventually get what they wanted in the end they became vampires but Jesse I think is mature enough to handle life as an immortal her only family is frozen in stone sleep like Akasha was so Jesse had no one except Lestat.

This girl was very annoying throughout the entire movie, I swear! She was way too desperate. I guess that's what comes with curiosity lol If I were to read the book and she behaved like this, I would've put the book down. That's exactly what I did with the second volume of the Twilight series lol I put it down and haven't picked it up in like 3 years
