I left NY for LA Jan 1978. That was the time to go.. NY was dying. The Heads had come and gone, the Ramones, Richard Hell, Television all and come and gone.. LA was where it was at and thats true because even WPIX FM was gone but KROQ FM was going strong in Pa-sa-de-na.
