Psykosonik

Another techno-industrial band from the 90s.Psyckosonik (I have to say, what a terrible name!) first hit the radio with singles "Welcome to My Mind" and "Silicon Jesus" from their self-titled album. Their first album, while catchy, was pretty candy-coated, and it always struck me as a mashup of Back Street Boys and Front Line Assembly... a bunch of clean-cut middle-class boys trying to do down-n-dirty industrial.Their second album, Unlearn, on the other hand, was fantastic, and is definitely up there in my all-time favourite albums. They really abandoned the wannabe-industrial sound from their first album, and went with a much more fluid, well-produced electronic sound for their second album.Its hard to pick a single song off Unlearn that stands out more than the others, but Ride is pretty damn close.Enjoy!Not quite #flashbackfriday .
