we're well aware of our options right now or how much better a halfstack would sound. we got dough for halfstacks (Powerball or FiddyoneFiddy's 1st choice once we could justify having it here) but there's just no room. the cube's loud enough/portable for our situation anyway. so yeah, cubes will stay. thanks.

Mate you have some serious skill. You gotta get some dosh together and get a half stack, will sound a million times better (y) Personally i think roland cubes have a great sound for a beginner type amp, but your no beginner. If you only play metal, i suggest a Peavey 6505 or 5150. If your looking to go more money wise, check out Framus, cobras are great (y) Or if your absolutely filthy rich by a Bogner Uberschall XD Mesa's are quite nice too (y) Depends what tone you like the best.
