You and I could probably be best friends from the comment you posted 5 months ago. Polvo and Unwound are two of the best bands from my childhood. I remember listening to them growing up in Cheraw, SC thinking how lame everyone else was while they listened to country and Snoop Dog.

Just do a google (image) search for Eko guitars. I just did one myself, after Lou suggested it might be an Eko. He's probably right. Eko made a slew of fender/Gibson looking guitars in the 60s and 70s. When I did the search, I saw a jazzmaster-looking axe and think I might of even saw the guitar you're looking for, which looks like soft-copy of a Fender thunderbird... right?
