For the record, the bass player for Pollyanna is Rayke Stapleton - she married one of the roadies from Ben Folds Five (Trey Hamilton) after Pollyanna opened for BFF in 1999 (I was at the Thebby gig on August 26th - brilliant show). Apparently that marriage ended a bit over a year ago, and she's living back in Australia now. I had a chat with Matt Handley after a Waif's gig (he does guitar tech for them) and begged him to reform Pollyanna. We can only hope :-)

I had to go looking through my CD collection to find out and her name is Maryke Stapleton.... But I'm sure they called her Reke for short. I could be wrong but I think she married one of the band members out of Benfolds Five (maybe the guitarist) Anyway funny that this morning I should get up with a bit of hangover singing the lyics Brittle then Broken... Ahhh flashback to my 20's :)
