I was referring to Pitch Shifter, but Carcass fits into the same catagory. Sorry that I didn't clarify that.

Are you talking about not going to see Carcass anymore, or pitchshifter? Because I think it's become trendy for a younger generation to check out Carcass now they'vee reformed because of the Arch Enemy link among other things. Pitchshifter haven't been trendy since 2000-2001.

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but I saw PS open for Carcass, my then-favorite band in '94, I think. Frankly, I was very disappointed in Carcass and thought PS stole the fucking show. I cringe in horror at all the trend-following fucks at their shows and would never go to see them, even if they played for free in my backyard. Since they're a different band now, they should never play the old songs because they can't do them justice any more.

pitch shifter, especially with infotainment, had this pulsating vibe to the rhythm section making them sound organic behind an artificial sound. That vibe was still there in the next album, but not so much in deviant. I think live though, today, they're probably the best they've been, especially with Jason on drums. Their current guitarists are good at what they do but are also really good programmers in their own right. And I don't think Jon can do sandblaster vocals anymore without damage
