Seeing as these videos haven't been taken down yet. I'd advise you to use Savetube and save them on your computer.

David only said that to spite Roger- he later admitted to it!

Re: Roger as bassist, continued: It's common knowledge that Gilmour played "about half" the bass tracks on the later studio albums, post-Dark-Side. It's common knowledge because "Mr. Humble", David Gilmour, made a point of *telling* everyone, via Musician magazine! But people who think that means Roger is a shitty bassist need to listen to PIPER At The GATES of MOTHERFUCKING DAWN! No Gilmour there, and I seriously doubt Syd Barrett would do it. There's damn good bass playing on that album!

>Don't you just love it when Roger actually plays the bass?? :D - Seriously? Yes. I think he's a fine bassist (so does Eric Clapton!) and improviser. Many people see Andy Bown playing bass, and assume that Roger is just pretending to play his. But on songs like "Run Like Hell", sometimes they're both playing: Bown plays the boring one-two-three-four on the root of each chord, down low, while Roger jams on the high frets. "Breathe" from DSOTM is a great example of Roger's bass style. I love it!

>who are the another four musicians in this concert? Andy Bown: bass Willie Wilson: drums Snowy White (1980), Andy Roberts (1981): guitar Peter Wood: keyboards They are not only the "surrogate band" from "In the Flesh"; they are needed to fill out the music. Roger once said they needed Wilson because Nick Mason was "incapable" of playing to the click track. If true, that means Wilson was the main drummer, and Nick the supporting percussionist. It's definitely tighter than most Floyd shows.

Thank you for posting this. This version kind of beats the hell out of the one on the official live album! This version has the four backup singers padding with "oohs" behind Roger's lead vocals. I never heard that in any recording from the Wall shows at all! I like those singers, especially during "The Last Few Bricks" when they do a sequence based on "Don't Leave Me Now" (which IS on the official live album). They sing some weird syllable that gets echoed in a strange way.

El vacio del alma lleva a la oscuridad. La oscuridad, trae confusion. Y la confusion, aumenta las voces del interior... Por suerte, escucho Pink Floyd, y ya no me siento tan loco pisando sobre este hielo delgado!
