Phil Ochs had a lot more talent and creativity than Dylan and was certainly more prolific as a singer song writer. Its too bad mental illness stopped him from achieving the greatness he so deserved.

I thought about this song right after 9/11 when so many of us were fearful of what was to come next. Some of the lyrics seemed so fitting even though Phil wrote these about another time: "New York city has exploded and it's crashed upon my head, I dove beneath the bed, fighting biting nails, turning pale." "Century is bending, have a very happy ending" "Half the world is crazy, and the other half is scared" "The anarchists are rising...it doesn't take a seer to see the scene is coming soon."

Phil was really showing off on this recording. Incredible percussion, lyrics..great composition and production skills. This album is so different from the other stuff I've heard from him.
