I somewhat think that there is somethinmg like this out there. Actually, I was a Petra fan as a youth and they got with another ministry to sell NKJV bibles pushed by Petra and a devotional magazine so as to get their fans mo0re into the bible. For some reasojn, not sure exactly if this what was said, but seems to be in line with their music as also in this first album. They encouraged many to destroy their tapes, albums, and CD's if they listened to their music more than reading the bible13 years назад

@mowriter When writing, I hope and pray that I can encourage within the righteousness of Christ. Sometimes as it had been and times continue to be what I grow through a bit. For a long time(lit years) where I would not have my vessel filled with righteousness. Many fustrating years staying faithful to God but not in a church, I began enquiring why the Lord were exposing Pharisees who practice legalism? Seems God answered chiding me as if, "I was not showing wrong in others but your own life."14 years назад

inbetween: re: petra lyrics - several songs do it, but "DEFECTOR" off "On Fire" really embedded in my hear and mind the idea that Jesus is nothing if not PURE LIBERATION. Anything less is unacceptable, and a mockery of the faith. Ultimate liberty from Death, itself.14 years назад

I shudder...tremble...when I consider the people who flat reject God, because of the poisonous mockery of faith they witnessed in a PARENT, a PHARISEE-type, or both. Tremble at the thought of the punishment awaiting those holier-than-thou assholes who would rather "keep up appearances" than keep their own children out of hell.
