I finally heard Don Williams sing this song. It's become one of my favorites. If no one had told me I would've thought it was a traditional Irish tune. Love this - it may be one of those played at my wake.

My favorite song on that great album. I bought it in 1977 and it still is one of my favorite Townshend's solo CDs.

Yes: an awesome song and epic performance. I have the vinyl album, which I treasure. I found out c/w artist wrote it with Wayland Holyfield and Williams recorded it. I'm learning to platy the guitar, and this song is perfect [I play and sing in D] for my learning to pluck arpeggio in addition to strumming.
