Last night Duck Down held a listening event for the new LP by Pete Rock & Smif-n-Wessun. With a growing separation from the youth and the pioneers of hip hop there seemed to be an excitement in the air to see such classic MC's back in the limelight. After a brief Q & A with Hot 97's own DJ Cipha Sounds, the crowd made up of mostly industry insiders were given a exclusive preview of the new album.
