I lived through the 50's,60's,70's & 80's music. There is no doubt that the 80's created the best electronic produced music. What is alarming that beginning in the late 90's that whole music industry came to a full stop. No new songs of any value were produced. It seems the easier it gets to make great music the less artist want to. I lived in San Francisco where seeing artist like Janis Joplin and Jefferson Airplane were a nightly event at the Filmore and Winterland. Younger people will never experience the way the early groups worked. Very basic instruments and almost no high tech. They relied on great vocals and excellent song writers and some of the best guitar players ever produced.. I hope one day it returns to great music creativity.

About 4 years ago, the professor of my Philosophy course showed this video and Hungry Like the Wolf by Duran Duran in class.
