Larry, I believe I listened to you on my way home from Detroit enroute to Amarillo Air force Base. When I could no longer pick KXOK, St. Louis, I began searching for your signal, staying with the Storz sound. Do you know anyone who's got the classic KOMA 1520 signatures? The ones with the Oklahoma! melody? These were the famous a cappella jingles.

There's a special art to recording someone else's music and making it sound better. In other words, doing a 'cover'. This is a superb cover. The percussive opening is typical Percy Faith genius. I hear what sounds like reverb on the drum that's not on the rest of the recording. Was the drum overdubbed and given plate echo? Anybody know? Thanks for a great upload, Serge!
