brett loves to whale on that acoustic base, honestly though I think that it sounds too waspy against the fretboard and adds a flavor pepper doesn't give when you see them in concert. Even in their acoustic sessions, brett, i gotta say you should stick with the electric. it looks badass though

I am a huge Pepper fan! i am a huge sublime fan too, have listened to them most of my life, Pepper doesn't sound just like Sublime, they have similar sounds but thats why i like them both because i love surf/beach/reggae/Hawaiian type music. But if you like rock music you dont say all those bands sound exactly alike, they are just in the same genre. Brad Nowell had some amazing music he wrote, but real reggae fans know that most of Sublimes songs were covers off Bob but they are still great.

Sublime was a very different style, but this singer could have definitely replaced Brad to keep the sound as close to original as possible. I like Rome, but this guy's voice is so much like Brad's- soothing and just good.
