Bufatutu Agonistes

Been listening to Pentangle for nearly fifty years but never heard this song until a few weeks ago. Of course this was shot/recorded around 1970, but sounds so fresh and alive to my ears. What sweet beauty from great musicians. Funny that we can hear Renbourn but never see him even for a moment. It soothes my soul as I sit here recovering from a broken leg--not quite as traumatic as Jansch's broken heart must have been when he penned this.

Obviously what sets Pentangle apart from Fairport, et al is the Danny Thompson, Terry Cox SWING FACTOR!!!... this late stuff is their best with Bert and Jacqui harmonising like the devil and an angel side by side.Fantastic upload!
