Certainly tuning issues there, my guess is that the G string went out as it does with many strats. In his final guitar part he was intentionally avoiding the g string for the most part as it did sound out, not his fault! Anyway, forget anal tech problems.... beautiful performance for my favorite band by miles!!!

dude he said the issues with the guitars was bc he was so fucked up from the night b4, lol it was his ears not the guitars. it sounds fine here, plus this song is made to sound dropped key like that

I was at the show and he has trouble with guitars in a few songs. It seems there are tuning issues (he even appears upset at the guitar tech at some point), but in between songs at one point he proclaims that the band got invited by KOL to their house the Sunday after Bonnarro and they were having a contest to see who could get the most drunk and who could stay up the latest. He then says, "and guess who won!" pointing both thumbs at himself! He may have been making light of a bad tech situation

Love this song! I think it sounded great, even if Ed got pissed about his guitar. Seems like it was out of tune. Seriously though, it didn't bother me or affect the greatness of the song/performance.
