According to the PJ20 book Stone Gossard says the following: "Dollar Short - Andy actually had lyrics for that. I don't think we ever recorded a full version of it, although there may be a bootleg of it. I think we played it in Portland. It was the exact same arragment of 'Alive', but Andy had completely different set of lyrics for it." I would love to hear Andy's take on the song and it would be interesting to see what direction the songs could have gone in if Andy had survived.

@AidanMusik It's already uploaded elsewhere. Do an Andrew Wood search on Mama Says Right (demo). Again, it's not the correct title, but, it's what you're looking for.

There's no "Dollar Short" with Andy. Just as there is no completed MLB version of what became "Footsteps". Some tracks that ended up on Ten received a short workout while MLB existed. And, those that did get the full band treatment were re-worked into something completely different. Like "Black", which was recorded by Andy, Bruce and Stone at an acoustic session in NYC and then titled "The One Time Fire". If there IS a ''Dollar Short" with Andy, this is the first I'm hearing of it in 20+ years.
