Her voice actually doesn't sound so bad here compared to some of her other videos. I can see why people love her, and why people are repulsed by her voice. It comes down to whether you can stand the odd frequency of her voice. AMAZING Harp playing though. I would buy an instrumental album.

I was defending her talent, not her music, thanks. I said education on singing and vocals, not music. You misquote me and therefore change the meaning of my words to suit your discursive purpose. I don't care if people say that they don't enjoy her music, but saying that she cannot sing is wrong. Also, in case you didn't notice this is a video and therefore nothing that I do would inhibit her from playing. So your entire comment is completely pointless. Good job superstar.

A person's "education" on music should be no reflection of the validity of their opinions. I can totally understand why people wouldn't like Joanna's singing or music. She's very idiosyncratic. I adore her music, and her voice is magical to me. That doesn't mean that it has to be magical to anyone else, or that my opinion is somehow better or worse than the person next to me. Now shut up and let the girl play. :D

haha, see, you're completely wrong. If you were better educated on the subject of both vocals, singing in general, and her particular case you wouldn't say so. I've seen other performances of hers that were in no way related to her current career in which she sang like anyone else would. In her current CD she has a specific vocal style that she uses to convey meaning and feeling. She can sing extremely well "normally." she simply chooses to sing well differently. once again, opinion.
