The only reason she looks big is because of all the mirrors on the outfit and putting that with the fact that she like 5ft 1 it makes her look a lot bigger anyone who knows about fashion and lighting knows that's the reason why she looks bigger and as for her singing people don't realize how hard it is so sing and dance at the same time so of course it's hard to sing when your breathing. Heavy and dancing your ass off people really need to stop hating and usually it's always the people who know absoultley nothing bout fashion n lighting and dance buts she the one laughing allll the way to the bank!

I saw this when it aired. They said that people told her not to wear that. They said she asked MTV to pull the performance from the repeat airings. MTV didn't pull the performance from the repeats because they said it wouldn't be fair to her fans. If they cut the performance, some might wonder; what happened to the Paula performance?

You guys are kind :) The performance, choreography, song choice - entertainment was great. She had a pretty face but YES she was fat here. Imagine Brittany Spears during her iconic oops I did it again performance. If she was this big - it would not have had the same effect. Unfortunately this performance for Paula (because her weight was not ideal) began the swan dive of her career. Americans are too fat and are quick to make excuses for each other; still it's sweet reading all the "aww, she's not fat at all!"
