Some enchanted evening

You may see a stranger,

you may see a stranger

Across a crowded room

And somehow you know,

You know even then

That somewhere you'll see her

Again and again.

Some enchanted evening

Someone may be laughin',

You may hear her laughin'

Across a crowded room

And night after night,

As strange as it seems

The sound of her laughter

Will sing in your dreams.

Who can explain it?

Who can tell you why?

Fools give you reasons,

Wise men never try.

Some enchanted evening

When you find your true love,

When you feel her call you

Across a crowded room,

Then fly to her side,

And make her your own

Or all through your life you

May dream all alone.

Once you have found her,

Never let her go.

Once you have found her,

Never let her go!

It's so easy to be critical. Everybody is just so clever. This is one performance, by a genius, a great human being, and an artist who gave many performances in his lifetime.I love it, just as it is.

Pity that I read some of the comments. Here was a man, here was a inspiration, here was a great talent and most of all here was a wonderful human being.

This was Paul's last commercial recording. I agree with the criticisms made by Operacaster, compare the voice to the recordings made in 1958,a couple of years earlier. Robeson was unwell by the time this was recorded.

This is a great rendition....Pity that idiot McCarthy stuffed up Paul Robeson's career, while on a witchhunt for damned commies....I can't stand commies either...but I am glad Robeson's recordings outlasted McCarthy & his cronies... and Robeson before he passed away, would have been have had the last laugh, and pleased with that, knowing also that the, majority public in the US and abroad, still revered him to the highest pedestal., and still do...

From a very early age I grew up with Paul Robeson on a cranked up player. Now, thanks to Youtube, we can all access this wonderful voice. Happy listening to all at this troubled time.

Why does politics...? Probably because politics enters every place or country where to get resources (energy,ore,etc....).Look at a géo stategic map .
