I wish his current output was half as good as this ... "Miss him, miss him"

This was released as an A-side in 1975 and although it made the Capital Countdown Top 40 on Capital Radio, it wasn't a national hit.

Denny Laine and Joe English claim that this was the sequel to Rocky Racoon.

This was the product of an interesting phase McCartney went through packing up Wings and going to Tennessee during the summer of 74. He showed his versatility and he had the respect of the Nashville sh*t kickers who are generally xenophobes.

*eyeroll* Gods, I get so sick of every comments section being hijacked by people who still want to perpetuate the same old Paul vs. John crap. Different people, different talents, different output, both geniuses, both fantastic.I haven't heard this in 40 years. It caused quite a cognitive dissonance in me when it came out, 'cause I loved all things Paul and hated all things country! LOLZ. But listening to it now, it's a cute tune, and some great Nashville sound.

John was raising his son sean in the period between 1975 and 1980 the reason he wasn't recording as much as Paul. Family comes first that's all.
