What an excellent music video you put together! This is truly a splendid song, with its thundering guitar riff, Beach Boys-like "bap-ba-bap-ba" backing vocals, and nonsensical lyrics that rank it right up next to "I Am The Walrus" in random nonsense songs. I love how coherently the footage of Paul and Linda fits into the song and the video: the recurring clip of Paul and Linda watching a movie with their eyes wide (looks like they're watching something horrifying!) and consuming copious amounts of popcorn fits spectacularly with the riff and the screamed vocals. Where did you find all this footage? I'd especially like to know where the watching-a-movie clip is from, and what bridge the Wings Over America trucks are crossing at 2:30 (looks a lot like the I-5 bridge over Lake Shasta in Northern California, the one that's currently being replaced).

Well, standing to what Paul and Linda say, this drink is something like a particular milk-shake!Paul's children used to call milk "monk", so Paul and Linda decided to work on the wordplay of the song."When my kids were young they used to call milk 'monk' for whatever reason that kids do - I think it's magical the way that kids can develop better names for things than the real ones. In fact, as a joke, Linda and I still occasionally refer to an object by that child-language name. So, monk was always milk, and monkberry moon delight was a fantasy drink, rather like Love Potion No. 9, hence the line in the song, 'sipping monkberry moon delight'.
