"I dont know if Gary subsequently recorded a version this song...." Fell on the floor when I read that! I am sure this was one of my mother's favourite songs when I was in the womb as the first time I heard it was like I had known it all my life. The Peter Watkins film "Privilege" is one of my favourite sixties films as well, just so uncannily prescient, more so as the years pass by. Incredible recording quality as well, even on a laptop, it sounds so "full".

what a classic song ! think Mike Leander wrote Early in the Morning too... another classic. Mike was a big cricket enthusiast too sadly he died a while ago .

Written and probably produced by Mike Leander who went on to co-write all of Gary Glitter`s hit songs in the 70s. I dont know if Gary subsequently recorded a version this song....
