Candy is one great movie. I just thought I'd mention that this song was written in Los Angeles in 1967. Tim Buckley wrote the music, and gave that to his lyricist who wrote all the lyrics one morning. Apparently they all came to him in no time, within an hour. Buckley eventually released this song in 1971 and it's been covered by countless artists. This version (though short since it deletes a whole verse) and This Mortal Coil's version from their 1st release in 1984 are both very strong. Enjoy.
