Charted at #33 on Billboard Hot 100 in March 1959. Paul followed up his successful revival of the 1930's song "(All of a Sudden) My Heart Sings" with another old song, and Don Costa supplied him with a similiar big ballad arrangement. This song had charted at #20 for the Cats and the Fiddle in September 1940. Other versions: #34 for Chris Connor in October 1956 and #34 for Little Anthony & the Imperials in October 1965 (#23 R&B).

Written by Jimmy Henderson, Sydney Robin and Bertha Scott.

B-side is "Late Last Night".

Hi "CatsPjamas1"...I'm assuming that producers back in the day like Don Costa etal, revived songs that they themselves grew up listening to and then reintroduced those old standards via artists like Paul Anka to young teen audiences. This song is just one of many examples of that...LOVE the very LUSH arrangements that Don Costa added to his work!

You have some truly amazing songs on your channel, that I only came accross today by chance while looking at something else. As an older person I adore the sentimental ballads of years gone by, in the days when the words to song had meaning. Thank you so much for taking the time to post these for all to enjoy, its truly a credit to you, and am looking forward to listening to many more, keep up the good work. Kind regards, Ken.
