John, The story of China's invasion and conquest of the sovereign nation of Tibet is very much a story of today. Tibetans who insist on following the Dalai Lama, rather than the Chinese Communist Party, are still being arrested, tortured and murdered. The land where their lamas once grazed, the animals they depended on for milk and, from their warm fur, clothing and shelter (tents), is being confiscated and handed over to developers, leaving the Tibetans without a means of taking care of themselves unless they agree to work for the Chinese invaders. Their religion and culture is being systematically destroyed.

She's been my star for twenty++ years. I dunno what she is singing half the time, I just go with her wherever. Have fun and rock, you know? She's singing about Tibet being tossed out of North China and the Dalai Lama and her friend the Lama..Yeah I know it's an old story but important, not to these times particularly, nor any times...Important because it aint a story, anf these aint story times we live in.
