A hit in 1957 and so good it made the UK charts again in 1969 . A wonderful song but performed perfectly by Sarah & Billy .

Brilliant. Took me back to Salford the late 1950's in the Grosvenor Hotel L. Broughton. My best mate Bob Hamilton's (sadly no longer with us) older brother and sister Harry and Joace sang Passing Strangers and brought the house down. Brilliant and also sad memories! David Martin

Thank you Keith. One of the first tracks I play as a very young DJ.What a wonderful combination of talent that still thrill my ears to this day.

The greatest of popular romantic songs. Thanks Mel Mandel for writing it and to the fabulous singers. Not much a fan of much wobbling, this is so good the emotion just takes over. Did anyone see the very sad episode of Hi-de-Hi where Ted Bovis fell in love with a young woman and sang this together. He let her go to lead hher life without his holding her back. Where can I find it?
