In Loving Memory of Sister Bernadette O'Connor, I attended and participated with her burial at Beagle Bay Mission in 2007 with the Bishop of Broome, Father Chris Saunders, Father Dan, Father Augustino. The lord mayor of Broome attended with numerous photographers including the nuns from St.John Of God.I drove from Bruce Rock to Broome to pay my last respects.It is not clear to me, perhaps a form of divination of the facts that happened on the day, but Enya's song was on the cd I left behind with a portable player.I was the only person to request one minute silence whilst standing alone in Bernadette's quarters, the events of her burial, continues to haunt me today.
