I feel bad for most the negative reviews. I love Plant and Coverdale on equal terms. I never draw comparisons in their live versions of each others songs with Jimmy on guitar. Both have equal talents. Both have a long solid rock résumé. Plant&Coverdale have written world famous songs, played with the worlds best guitarist in their respective careers. I just don't get why people are so critical and can't enjoy these awesome songs, poor bastards. Now lemme turn up the volume.

I'll always love Led Zep...I went thru my Zeppelin phase in my younger years but Coverdale's version is 100x better. I own all of Zep's output and in my opinion Coverdale/Page is Page's finest work outside of Zeppelin. Coverdale/Page is truly Page's last, great "Zeppelinesque" output. Coverdale is in his own right is an excellent, classic vocalist and he put in a stellar performance on that album and really outshines anything Plant has done since Zeppelin. No Quarter and Clarksdale was a poor showing in my opinion.

Mr plant can't gettin tighter his voice more than coverdal but also the live version of shake my tree (coverdal/page) isn't like the album version david used a lot of studio's effect on the album (also in absolution blues)

Somebody said "This really is the last zep song." I'm not expert. It sounds like "Nobody's Fault But Mine" or something from the Presence LP?I don't really need to see Robert Plant in loose leather pants ... prancing around like a gay boy wannabe - just too sluggish to pull it off ... acts like he's trying to shake off a dingleberry. Something wrong w/ his leg?? ANYBODY can dance/prance/pose better than that. Maybe he's got footrot and that's why his feet are all twerky? Honestly I don't even care. If I wanna hear a real, dyed-in-the-wool, bonafide genuine "singer" I'll listen to Van Morrison or Sam Cooke or Ray Charles...Dread Zeppelin is even preferable on the uh-oh-ya uh-oh-ya parts - that come off like Elvis derivatives with "suck it!" added for good measure? Honestly, "singers" - generally speaking but not always - just ruin what might have been perfectly good music; not sure if that's the case here - one more "suck it" at the very end makes me WONDER...
