I lost my husband 11 years ago and it took me 9 of those years to come to terms with his death and to let go of him. I didn't want too. The first time I heard this song after he had died, I couldn't stop the tears. She sang it with the anger and pain that I was feeling. It remains about the only song that I just can't get through without the tears. Between her emotional delivery and those lyrics, I simply don't stand a chance. But, tears can be healing, so I listen and I continue to heal.

So well said. I've watched many "Who Knew" live performances, and you're so right about the emotions ! Me and my girlfriend broke after 7 years of relationship, and, as I think back ....who knew ? :-| I still love her, i still keep her locked in my head, she still visits me in my dreams... Who knows ?
