Honestly, I like Overcast so much more than the bands they later became. Shadows Fall is mostly silly, and Killswitch Engage annoys the crap out of me. With Overcast, it sounds like someone actually blended thrash and death metal with hardcore punk and made it work, unlike most metalcore garbage.
