Damn, Our Lady Peace never fails to amaze me. Gonna go out and buy a couple of their albums. Always feels good buying hard copy album that means a lot.

yes, mike turner…. good sounds i felt very disappointed when i first listened gravity.. long time ago…. miss mike turner, i miss our lady peace.. they really were a unique band... happiness and spiritual machines will always be in my heart i don't even care what they release now…

I agree that Steve doesn't get nearly enough credit, but I hate how this argument even exists; I always has to be Mike vs Steve. I think that in their own respective eras, they contributed (and still contribute) what was/is needed to make OLP what they are today.

I love Mike Turner. He was a very interesting guitar player. Very wise. I think he was a little out there. So when they went to Bob Rock they were gonna make it simple and not as 'odd' (in a good way) as they were used to. I think that's when it showed that he couldn't hide behind all the layering that OLP used to use a lot.

@kennygmang Mazur is a better guitar player, I'll give you that. But Turner is the reason I started playing guitar ^_^ He co-founded the band, and while I respect any band's ability to change styles and go new directions, they went a direction I didn't like. I take my hat off to them, but I just don't really listen to them any more because of that.

Looking back Gravity really is a good album. As a follow up to SM it leaves a little to desire but it's still good on it's own.
