About mid April 1955, the original members of "The Charms" split from Otis Williams. This is where it starts to get confusing. Otis picked up new members for the group, and continued to record for Deluxe. The other members went off and continued to use the name. A lawsuit followed. Meanwhile Otis recorded as "The Charms", "Otis Williams and His New Group", "Otis Williams and His Charms", and finally, when he won the lawsuit, "Otis Williams and The Charms". Meanwhile, Deluxe was releasing previously recorded tracks and new material under the different names. Some songs were even re-released. Very tough to sort out who's who, and when they were, at first glance. Anyway this song was recorded 11/09/55 and released about a week later. Also, do not confuse this Otis Williams with the Temptations' Otis Williams. Not the same Otis.
