There were many great Otis Redding Songs. This one however stands out as well. One peculiar thing, when "Direct Me" blares on the Radio the entire 2 Sq Kl of school campus comes alive boisteriously, without exception. It was like a drug and we were always waiting for our fix.

@fububalla Uhuh, back then i was beginning to get into music myself with a band as lead singer and eventually guitar and lead vocals. Otis was my main man. and around that same time or just before, Aretha was hot with (Smokeys) "The Tracks Of MyTears" just alot of memories. what about short boy Duck Dunn the bass player, is he still alive?
