Canzone della seraIl Paisley Underground fu un movimento musicale nato in California negli anni 80. Band che si rifacevano alla psichedelia degli anni sessanta, con matrice folk (i Byrds furono forse la band principalmente ispiratrice), riportarono in auge quel mondo con le loro fascinazioni, attualizzandole. Chi seguiva il rock underground/alternativo in quel periodo, a meno che non fosse intransigentemente dark e new wave e poco o nulla americanofilo, queste cose le ha ascoltate e amate di sicuro.Dai Rain Parade David Roback va a formare gli Opal (via Clay Allison), band culto che poi diventerà Mazzy Star (di ampio culto anche loro, tuttora in attività), con il cambio vocalist femminile: da Kendra Smith a Hope Sandoval.Opal - Supernova
