Love this song. The lyrics are pure poetry that go straight to the heart while the infectious beat commands my head to count each with joyous abandon. Never a clearer message of an artists perspective on the business been documented in video. The struggle to balance and maintain creative vision while mired in the wear and tear of endless touring, personal struggles and interpersonal differences - while one dimensional suits only view the process as a business and look to find ways to commercialize and exploit the artist. Losing, and gaining, perspective on the fractious nature of it all, the musician still thrives on the energy and joy of the LIVE audience yet can not mend the cracks that have formed in the process. But - I didn't need to expound on this - it's all there clearly for all in the words and the images...

I warmed up for Will and Jonathan as a duo at Flipnotics ( RIP) when I played dobro for Ethan Azarian. The two of them ( Jon and Will ) sing so well together. It was one of the best things I have ever heard. I love this song and the voices.

It'd be cool to see a MTMTE album with all these various songs on it, but I doubt that'd ever happen. Out of curiosity, what style of music would people give RID if that had a soundtrack? Personally, I reckon more orchestral and dramatic, sort of like the music from the movies, just because I think it suites the tone of that series and is completely different from MTMTE's sort of indie, folk-rock sort of style.
