Much arguing in these comments. Not going to add anything to them, only say this, I'm an atheist, no interest in the whole god and religion thing (nor do I care to hear the nonsense about them being different), I like the singer's voice and love the music, therefore I like this song and don't really care too much what it's about one way or the other. Don't care about the message, it won't convert me or change my beliefs or lack of them one way or the other, I still enjoy this song though.

All of these Christians griping about atheists stating their beliefs when we are forced as a nation to hear the gospel of Catholics and Christians alike. It's this hypocrisy that has spawned such a fire in us. Until someone can show me proof of the almighty God, I will not believe. A book is a book. There are no witnesses alive or written testimonials besides that book to corroborate those tales. Oh, and for those who will bash, a majority of atheists started out as theists, however from the lack of existence your spiritual savior we abandoned the concept. This is a calling, if you can prove to me God is real, with a fact, not a belief, all of the atheists on here will apologize and abandon our stance.

And by the way, "Religion" is different from ReligionS! ReligionS are a way of believing the world was created but Religion is a set of rules designed for ReligionS! Christianity is not Religion. What passage of the bible did you get this from? Reason I ask is because people have a tendency to mix the writings of later theologians with what it actually says in the Bible. I'd like to know the passages where it says satan is either the leader, a prisoner, causes suffering and bad things to occur or whatever else. The only book I can think of where Satan gets directly involved with a person is Job. I know he apparently tempts Jesus, but without the mandate of God. So wouldn't that give us the idea that he has free roam until he's thrown into fire?
