I've looked it up before, it super sad! It's about two sociopaths who murdered many and the ppl involved became infamous. I think it's referenced in the song because they are just one example of the lengths that people will go for "fame" like addicts who go to any length. Fame is something that a lot of ppl hunger for but it only damages them. "What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?" Mark 8:36
