This song is the most concise summary of what was so great about Oceansize. Utterly silly yet beautifully poignant. Ridiculously intense with a lot of thought put into every single note. Vocals, guitars, and especially drums all played to absolute perfection. And the best song title I've ever heard to boot. We miss you, Oceansize.

ehm, nope. biffy were always sooo different from oceansize. and biffy are still great. they just evolved, maybe you didn't. :) and yea, they have poppy singles. but the captain is not poppier than 57 or justboy were, they're just better produced.

@mdavis2789 The song is in 11/16 and maybe you have to work a little bit on your musical skill. Try to slow the song down with a software and then write down what you here, and I'll GUARANTEE you'll end up with 11/16 ;)

@mdavis2789 Count the individual notes of the rhythm. It's two 8ths, three 16ths, one 8th, then two 16ths per bar. That's 11/16. If you try tapping it out in quarters you'll almost definetly add an extra 16th because it just feels natural, but the notes add up to 11/16.

You're thinking to hard about it. i have no idea where you guys are getting 11/16 from. The whole song is in 6/4. Count the quarter note. Even though it feels like you want to count the eighth on the quick beginning. Fantastic song. Music that makes you think is good music.

@MrPerson72 Nevermind, I stand corrected. Just analyzed the drum beat slowed down in order to count it. Definitely 11, but it's very fast, like 11/16.

@Youneik89 Where do you get the 11 from? I count 6/8, or 4/3, and it sounds like the chords change in multiples of 2 or 4 bars. Don't get me wrong though, this song has some killer drums in it, but your comment isn't the first time I've seen that 11 come up, and I don't know where it comes from. Time-signature wise, this song seems to be pretty straight forward for there guys and the bass drum and snare beats never change (though everything in between does like crazy haha)
