well, you know people like to find similarities so they make it easier for them. I for once never relate a band to another just for the sake of it. There were cases that one band was the copycat of another...apart from those cases, all other bands are unique even if they share some common elements sometimes. Besides, it is always nice to find more bands similar to the one you like to listen to..that goes without saying

Am i the only one who thinks that Novembers' Doom songs about the guy's daughter are the most impressive and emotional of all, and who feels like shedding a tear when listening them?

@Behemoth12391 We actually did do a few shows with Opeth back in 2001 when they came here for "Blackwater Park", was alot of fun. We've appeared on a few Euro fests with them since then but not quite the same thing. We greatly respect those guys and still enjoy crossing paths with them from time to time. Both bands coexist and respect each other, hopefully more of the fans can realise that and do the same!
