I had tried some other doom before ND, and it was good, but definitely not the best. I tried some straight out death metal. Eh, not my type. I often love blends of melodic/progressive death. But, finding Novembers Doom, I found a love I can barely begin to describe. This incredible band blends in death vocals and drumming with doom, and that creates such a dark beauty in this music, haunting and addicting; it just sends pleasurable shivers down my spine and makes me long for more.
