Paul Anka wrote great lyrics and music and Frank Sinatra delivered something really nice.This version come closer, to my mind, to what Anka was thinking if you want to hear it intense. The lyrics are intense, why not the vocal, and like many great musical Finns, Ahola really delivers! I freakin' love this!Someone said something about this being at their funeral. This resonates with me.I've made a lot of bad decisions in my life, but I did it my way. I think I'd like two songs at my funeral, this and "Moonlight Drive" by the Doors. Don't ask, figure it out for yourself. One is about my conduct in life, the other is about me on a gut level.Though I don't love everything the Northern Kings do, I love most of their music. What a musical blessing. Great singing, great vocal pipes, great arrangement, great concept for restructuring, which a lot of people won't understand. If they ever do another album, that would be fantastic!
