I've said it before and I'll say it again. The metal scene must have a lot of closet gay blokes in the scene. Why else would some of these metal bloke criticise and put down this great female metal guitarist? She's a fantastic guitarist and she's gorgeous. It's what the metal scene needs. More hot female musicians. I can't help getting suspicious on blokes putting this great woman down. You're gay aren't you? And girls in the metal scene are a threat to you aren't they?

Alice Cooper has good taste and music knowledge.A Major F# C# G#.Basic Triad A C# E.Relative minor scale = F#minor(F# A C#). Frequently a musical piece will change into relative chords, and chords of other degrees of the scale, including Dominant 5th = E major = E G# B, or 3rd is mediant= C# major =C# F G#.4th degree chords (subdominant)= D F# A and others chords of interest.and one day soon I'll work out the guitar board.

It's amazing how many negative comments this attracts. Utterly disproportionate. My favourite are the ones that go to great effort to try and dress it up as a critique of the content or style. There are plenty of bad tutorials out there, poor content, poor sound etc etc but what is it about this one that compels you to comment you transparent cunts?

You people are crazy you know she plays live with Alice Cooper, I mean what the fuck have any of you people ever done who comment on videos on you tube and just slate people. She has played at NAMM and plays massive live gigs, so unless all the people that have hired her for the massive music events are deaf how the hell is she so successful if she is shit? I know you are all going to say well she is very good looking which she is, but I am sorry people like Alice Cooper and the NAMM festival can choose anyone they want and their is plenty of other good girl guitarist out there. I just think their are too many people on you tube that are just jealous and like to put people down because they are nowhere near as good as the other person. This is a basic lesson and very well done. She is right; if you practice this scale repeatedly you will understand how it fits into a song and where you can improvise.

Nita: Thanks for the info. As a beginner I wish you would have does the finger positions slower so I could see which finger was where. Also, could the camera guy show your fingers more closely? Its good info, but damn that was fast.

To every one hating on this girl. First of all you're being sexist. Second, her guitar sounds like it has good tone. You can put whatever effect you want on a guitar but it won't hide setup problems. I set my guitars intonation way out of wack and even with a completely overloaded Line6 amp it still sounded like the intonation was off(I tried it clean too, just incase you thought the amp was the problem). Plus, even if the guitar sounds like crap, that has absolutely nothing to do with how well some one can teach guitar.
