What I love about Nirvana is that there is no other grunge band like them. They play fast and hard, listening to Nirvana is like being punched in the face - if being punched in the face felt good. Think about it, Alice in Chains was heavy but they were more metal-influenced and Pearl Jam sounds like a regular rock band, Soundgarden is... I don't know, but they're not Nirvana. STP is like a weird lovechild of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.Nirvana is kind of like Motorhead for grunge.
