It really amazes me how quickly time goes by. All of you commenting on how you wish you were old enough to rock around that time, I feel really bad for you that you weren't. People were so much more genuine. I'm not knocking technology but in those days we kept eachother close. It was easy to fall out of contact with someone who changed their number or moved away, yet we rarely let it happen. Nowadays with FB, you can see exactly what a friend of yours ate for lunch even though you haven't spoke in years and fool yourself into thinking that you're keeping touch. But that's nothing like daily phone calls or hanging out in person. I was born in that last generation where we looked outside to see the world before technology and social media forced us all to look inward in solidarity into a personal screen that you can learn to play guitar on or whack it to hardcore porn. I remember taking the train to learn a couple of guitar chords from a friend cause I was determined to learn so I invested the time. Getting laid? Well that was a different train. Now it's all consolidated and it's easy and convenient but that's not life, kids. Life ain't supposed to be too easy.
