I feel that if you listen to The Downward Spiral, The Fragile, and With Teeth back to back, they "bleed" into one another pretty well. You can tell With Teeth came after The Fragile just in its music. Its vibe. To say it was weak is to say you're stuck in one frame of mind. You want another 'Fragile' or 'Spiral' album. I know because my best friend's the same way. I love the way he's transitioned away from those albums. I'm not going to scream that I love everything NIN, but I do appreciate it.

With Teeth gets unfair hate. i think its a great album that stands out for individual songs, rather than concept music which other NIN releases tend to be. My overall favourite is Fragile, as it is such an epic album.
