the russian is lovely but as you say wider audience appreciate english, they aren't mutually exclusive! more nikita please english for us non russian speakers and original russian cos i like it 2 and i'm trying to understand russian, just a bit slow.

Twice as nice. NIKITA and in english. I think this version is as good as the original one. And a wonderful chance for the girls to be known to an even wider audience, I suspect there might be a "patriotic" aspect behind, when some complain about the english version and wants NIKITA to sing only in russian.
